Collection: Olga Calado

Olga Calado lives and works in London, her artistic practice focuses on sand dunes landscapes, as well as in urban nature; with this theme she did a particular exhibition “Broken/Hidden Nature” (“Paddington Works” London, January 2020). However, her most recent exhibition “Landscape Art: Rural vs Urban” is about sand dunes landscapes (“The Brick Lane Gallery”, London February 2022). The artist is a creator of images with the purpose of raising awareness about our natural world and its fragility. For nature and city landscapes her style is evolving towards an ecological and urban art. Her project is to bring the ecological movement closer to art and urban expression with the intention of reaching the viewer and thus stimulating dialogue with the memories of Nature in childhood. Dunes landscapes as well as nature through the urban window is how Olga Calado’ current artistic creation is being defined.
