Lea grew up in Worpswede, a German village known for it´s tradition as an artist’s colony. In this environment her awareness for different perspectives has been raised. During her studies of restoration and conservation of furniture at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam she attended different art classes and was supported to find her own style.
Her work materials of choice are mainly acrylic on canvas. The paintings can be classified as abstract expressionism and are given depth by the choice as well as the layering of colours. The paintings are inspired by nature themes and emotions. As part of a commission project, Lea recently has started to work on abstract woman paintings too.
Commissions are welcomed, shipment is available as well.
